This article provides instructions on how to integrate Twitch Player content into your ads.
Generate Embed Code
In Twitch, navigate to the video you want to use in your Adventive ad.
Copy the embed code from Twitch. You can get the embed code by clicking the Share button in the bottom right of the video, then copying the code listed in the Embed Video field:
You can paste the code into a text doc to Save for later. Example of Twitch code:
<iframe src="https://player.twitch.tv/?autoplay=false&video=v347778148" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen="true" scrolling="no" height="378" width="620"></iframe><a href="https://www.twitch.tv/videos/347778148?tt_content=text_link&tt_medium=vod_embed" style="padding:2px 0px 4px; display:block; width:345px; font-weight:normal; font-size:10px; text-decoration:underline;">Watch Winter Royale Semi-Finals | Day One (North America) from Fortnite on www.twitch.tv</a>
Embedding the Twitch Player In Adventive
Add the HTML Import component to your ad unit in Adventive and select the Paste Snippet option.
Open the Code Snippet editor and paste the Twitch Player embed code.
Click Submit. The Twitch video should now display in the builder:
Be sure to resize the player container if needed. Use the Ad Previewer to test positioning and size for best results.
As Adventive is not hosting the content assets, we do not have the ability to track data from Twitch embeds, including views, quartiles or any engagements with controls. This will need to be pulled from Twitch as they are the host.
